I am ok with either option ... I would lean towards option (2).
But would like to hear from ScottK.
Greg.

Subject: [Starlingx-discuss] Input Requested from the TSC regarding stx.9.0 release dates

Hello TSC members,
As per the minutes from the release meeting today [1], we need your input on the stx.9.0 release dates.

Specifically, the "Openstack Services upversion: Ussuri -> Antelope" has milestone dates beyond the release milestones.
-- Feature Code Merged: Aug 22 / Feature Tested: Sep 15 Current stx.9.0 milestone dates:
-- Code Merged / Milestone-3: Aug 2 / Feature Test Complete: Aug 30

There are two options to deal with the above:
(1) Keep the current release dates and handle the feature as an exception
(2) Align the release dates to accommodate the openstack feature to move to Antelope given this is a key feature.

We are looking for your input on which option to proceed with. On the call, several team members (myself, Ildiko, Thales - openstack prime) were in favor of option 2, but that will push the release from September 27 to October 18.

Looking forward to your response.

Regards,
Ghada
